A New Chapter in Education: Sasamani Partners with Kerege School

On February 20th, 2025, the Sasamani Foundation celebrated the official launch of its new partnership with Kerege Secondary School, marking Sasamani's next chapter in providing educational opportunities for students in need. Eleven new students from Kerege will receive holistic educational sponsorship, including room, board, uniforms, supplies, and health insurance. Kerege becomes the fifth school in Tanzania's Bagamoyo District to join forces with Sasamani, which now supports nearly 200 students. The event brought together key community stakeholders, including the Sasamani Foundation's Education Director (Gladness Kulola), Bagamoyo District Secondary School Education Officer (Juma Yusuph Seleman), Sasamani Board Member (Thea Mushi), parents, teachers, and the sponsored students. This collaboration is more than just financial support-it is an investment in the future. With Sasamani's commitment to providing resources, mentorship, and guidance, students at Kerege Secondary School will be equipped to excel academically and build a strong foundation for their futures.
