The Sasamani Foundation provides sponsorships and holistic support to students from vulnerable backgrounds in Bagamoyo, Tanzania. We believe that the surest way out of poverty is education.

When you sponsor a student, you have a positive impact on the student's life in many ways. Not only do you empower the students, but also their families and communities.

A $30 monthly or $360 annual donation covers a student's school fees from middle school through university and ensures each student's basic needs are met such as food, boarding costs, hygiene supplies, school supplies, and transportation.

LEARN HOW SPONSORSHIPS WORK

1. Sponsor a student today through the 'Sponsor Now' button. In the check-out screen, select the names of the student (s) you would like to sponsor or opt for 'assign me the student(s) most in need'.
2. You receive a welcome kit in your email inbox with a welcome letter from our Education Director, a detailed student profile, further information about the sponsorship and ways you can get more engaged and support the student's learning journey .
3. See the student(s) you sponsor flourish and their life changing. You will keep in touch through the exchange of letters. And our Education Director will keep you updated on their progress too. ​
