Embrace. Empower. Educate. Employ.
At Sasamani, we start with the premise that women are the change makers of every society. When there is a void of women's voices, we join hands to help lift them up. Empowering women with leadership and employment skills activates their ability to transform their families, organizations, and entire communities. The four pillars of Sasamani are powerful, and yet I find the first to be the most essential. To make progress building confidence in burgeoning women leaders, we must first meet each other exactly as we arrive. As we work together to develop new ways to overcome long-term and systemic gender bias, we must first step deeply into the present moment. I believe that we can only prosper if we listen to each other, learn from each other and teach one another. This is how we, collectively, grow. We honor our own distinct biographies, histories, cultures and experiences. We listen whole heartedly. We respect each other's truths, dreams and interests. We embrace. This is our partnership and our creed, and the founding pillar of Sasamani. Warm regards, Andy Halsey, Founder
