SUMMER INTERNS ARRIVE TO TANZANIA: MEET WESLEY MORRIS

Wesley is a rising senior at Connecticut College and currently studies Economics. His academic interests include global poverty, specifically, underdevelopment. Other interests of his include accounting, financial analysis, economic development, and small business development. In the future, Wesley sees himself working with NGOs that are addressing poverty at a global scale. He has a heart for community action and we can’t wait to see all the great work he will do in Bagamoyo.

​Wesley attended an event put on by 'Divine Hands,' an organization that uses sports and recreational activities to foster community and belonging particularly for the youth of Chanika and other nearby communities. The event was celebrating the public holiday of Eid al Fitr through games and sports. Divine Hands also facilitates their pursuit of education and vocational training.
