It is my pleasure to announce that our former Sasamani intern, Rachael Lieblein-Jurbala, has earned the designation of Winthrop Scholar at Connecticut College. Rachael was among 12 students in her graduating class who were awarded this prestigious recognition. This tradition dates back to 1928, the Winthrop award is reserved for students who demonstrate exceptional scholarship. Rachael received the highest academic honor a student can be awarded at Conn College! Winthrop Scholars are the first members of their class selected for membership in Phi Beta Kappa, the national honor society of undergraduate higher education.
Team Sasamani is incredibly proud of Rachael's honorable academic achievements and we are rooting for her future success!"
